¿Qué es Gallery Weekend México?

Es un formato expositivo que sucede una vez al año, donde las principales galerías de la ciudad y del país presentan exposiciones especiales para la ocasión y programas de actividades durante un fin de semana.

La edición 2021 se llevará acabo del 5 al 7 de noviembre.

 

¿Quiénes participan?

Participan las galerías de arte y diseño más relevantes de la ciudad, tanto consolidadas, como las nuevas voces;  así como espacios independientes de la Ciudad de México

 

¿En dónde se lleva a cabo?

Gallery Weekend México es un evento multisede. Las exposiciones se llevan a cabo en los locales de cada una de las galerías participantes.

 

¿Cómo puedo conocer la programación de Gallery Weekend México?

Los horarios de todas nuestras actividades 2021 son:
Viernes 5 de noviembre: 11-19h
Sábado 6 de noviembre: 11-19h
Domingo 7 de noviembre: 11-17h

La ubicación de las galerías y espacios participantes, rutas de transporte público, estacionamientos cercanos podrás consultarlos en galleryweekend.art y nuestras redes sociales.

 

¿El acceso a las exposiciones y programas especiales tiene algún costo?

No, el acceso a todas las galerías es gratuito.

 

¿Solo se realiza en la Ciudad de México?

El formato Gallery Weekend se ha popularizado en los últimos años. Hoy Gallery Weekend se lleva a cabo en las principales capitales culturales del mundo como Ámsterdam, Berlín, Bruselas, Madrid, París, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima y Santiago de Chile, Seúl, Pekín y Kuala Lumpur, entre otras.

 

Las piezas expuestas durante Gallery Weekend México, ¿están a la venta? 

Sí, todo el arte está a la venta. La información y precios los podrás consultar directamente con el personal de cada galería.

What is Gallery Weekend Mexico?

It’s an exhibition format that is held once a year, where the main galleries of the city and the country present special exhibitions for the occasion and programs of activities through the weekend.

The 2021 edition will be taking place from November 5^th to 7^th. The most relevant galleries of the Mexico City and some from other parts of the country participate in Gallery Weekend.

 

Where it will be held?

Gallery Weekend México is an event with multiple venues. The exhibitions are held in the spaces of each participant gallery.

 

 Where can I find the Gallery Weekend México program?

The schedule for all the Gallery Weekend Mexico 2021 activities is:
Friday, November 5th: 11-19h
Saturday, November 6th: 11-19h
Sunday, November 7th: 11-17h

You can consult the schedules for all the activities, participating galleries’ adress, routes of public transport and parking options near to the spaces at galleryweekend.art 

 

Do the access to exhibitions and special programs have any cost?

No, the access to all the galleries and activities is free.

 

Is Gallery Weekend only held in Mexico City?

Gallery Weekend format has become popular in the last years. Today, Gallery Weekend take place in the main cultural capitals of the world such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, Santiago de Chile, Seoul, Peking and Kuala Lumpur, among others.

 

Are the pieces exhibited during Gallery Weekend México on sale?

Yes, all the art is on sale. You can consult the information and prices directly with the staff of each gallery.
